These are the rules for working with One Afternoon, written in plain English. By buying any of our services, you agree to them. Questions? Write to [email protected].
1. Who we are
One Afternoon helps business owners set up and use AI. We're based in Miami, Florida, and all of our work happens online, over Zoom, email and WhatsApp.
2. What you're buying
Each service is described, with its price, on our Services & Pricing page. That description is what's included. Custom projects follow the written proposal we send you, and anything outside it is quoted separately.
Everything we build lives in your own accounts. You own it, and it keeps working if you stop working with us.
3. Payments
- Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Calls, the AI Jumpstart and our systems are paid upfront. Custom projects are paid 50% to start and 50% when they're done, unless your proposal says otherwise.
- Your own subscriptions (like your AI plan and any app a system needs) are paid by you, directly, in your name. We'll tell you exactly what they are before you buy.
4. Scheduling
- After you pay for a Jumpstart, a system or a plan, we email you within 1 business day to schedule.
- Strategy calls are booked on our calendar and paid with the link in your confirmation. A call that isn't paid 12 hours before its start time is canceled.
- You can reschedule any session for free up to 24 hours before it starts.
5. Refunds
- Strategy call ($150): reschedule for free up to 24 hours before. Missed calls aren't refunded.
- AI Jumpstart: full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your afternoon.
- Systems and custom projects: full refund if you cancel before we start work. Once work has started, payments aren't refundable, but if something we built doesn't work as described, we'll fix it.
- Monthly plans: cancel anytime by writing to us. Canceling stops the next charge. Months already paid aren't refunded.
To ask for a refund, email [email protected]. Approved refunds go back to the original card within 5 to 10 business days.
6. The $150 call credit
If you hire us within 30 days of a paid strategy call, the full $150 counts toward your Jumpstart, system or custom project. It's one credit per business, it can't be exchanged for cash, and it doesn't apply to monthly plans.
7. Your accounts and your data
- You own every account and everything we build. We never resell subscriptions.
- When we need access, we use temporary or shared access that you control, and we remove it when we're done. We never ask for passwords over text.
- We don't keep copies of your business data. See our Privacy policy.
- If your business follows special rules (for example tax, legal, medical or financial), you're responsible for confirming that your setup meets them, with your own advisors.
8. About AI
AI tools can make mistakes. Please review anything important before you rely on it or send it to a client. Our advice is about using AI in your business. It isn't legal, tax, financial or medical advice.
9. Limits
We work hard to get things right, but we can't control the AI tools and apps your setup depends on, or changes their makers make. Our total responsibility for any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in place when you bought a service applies to that purchase. These terms follow the laws of the State of Florida.
